Use WordPress API when an agent needs to find and review published posts from a specific WordPress site, including recent articles, archive pages, keyword searches, and publication checks. The posts action returns a bounded, compact page by default and supports pagination, date filters, sorting, search, and explicit response-field selection. Choose it for sites that expose the standard WordPress REST API; use another integration for pages, media, comments, non-WordPress content, or content changes. Configure the site's /wp-json/wp/v2 REST base URL and API credential before use.
