Tool to create a project milestone in Linear with a name and optional target date and sort order. Use when you need to add milestones to track progress within a project.
name必填stringThe name/title of the milestone. This is a required field.
project_id必填stringUUID of the project to which this milestone belongs. Must be a valid UUID format (xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx). Use LINEAR_LIST_LINEAR_PROJECTS or LINEAR_GET_LINEAR_PROJECT to find valid project UUIDs.
sort_ordernumberOptional sort order number for the milestone. Lower numbers appear first. This determines the display order of milestones within a project.
descriptionstringOptional description for the milestone. Supports markdown formatting.
target_datestringOptional target date for the milestone in YYYY-MM-DD format. Accepts date strings in the format YYYY-MM-DD only (e.g., '2024-06-30'). ISO datetime strings or Unix timestamps are not supported by Linear's projectMilestoneCreate mutation.
