    The key of the custom attribute to create or update. This key must match the key of a custom attribute definition in the Square seller account. If the requesting application is not the definition owner, you must use the qualified key (e.g., 'app_id:attribute_key').

    The ID of the target merchant. You can obtain this from the List Merchants endpoint or from your Square dashboard.
  • idempotency_keystring
    Optional unique identifier for this request to ensure idempotency. Use this to prevent duplicate requests from creating multiple custom attributes if the request is retried. Maximum 5 KB.

    The custom attribute object containing the value and optional version number.
