Tool to create a new metadata taxonomy in Box. Use when you need to set up a hierarchical classification system for organizing and categorizing metadata templates.
keystringThe taxonomy key. If not provided, it will be automatically generated from the displayName by converting to lowercase and replacing spaces and non-alphanumeric characters with underscores. Maximum length is 256 characters. Must match pattern ^[a-zA-Z_][-a-zA-Z0-9_]*$.
namespaceRequiredstringThe namespace of the metadata taxonomy to create. Must be in the format 'enterprise_{enterprise_id}' where enterprise_id is your Box enterprise ID. You can retrieve your enterprise ID from the /users/me endpoint with fields=enterprise.
displayNameRequiredstringThe display name of the taxonomy. This name will be visible in the Box web app and can be used to identify the taxonomy. Maximum length is 4096 characters.
