Box Update Retention Policy

  A text description of the retention policy. Maximum 500 characters. Set to empty string to clear the existing description.

  The new name for the retention policy. Must be unique within the enterprise.

  Specifies whether the policy can be modified.

  The retention duration in days as an integer (e.g., 30, 365) or the string 'indefinite' for indefinite policies. Non-modifiable policies can only have their duration extended, not shortened.
• disposition_actionstring
  Action to take when the retention policy expires.
• are_owners_notifiedboolean
  Whether to notify owners and co-owners when retention is about to expire. Notifications are sent before the retention duration ends.
• retention_policy_idstring

  Required
  The unique identifier of the retention policy to update.
• can_owner_extend_retentionboolean
  Whether content owners can extend the retention period before it expires. When true, owners see an option to extend retention on their files.
