Box Update Web Link

• urlstring
  The new URL that the web link points to. Must start with "http://" or "https://". Example: "https://www.example.com"
• namestring
  A new name for the web link. If not provided, the name will default to the URL. Example: "My Favorite Website"
• parent__idstring
  The ID of the parent folder to move this web link into. Use this to move the web link to a different folder. Example: "12345" for a specific folder or "0" for the root folder.
• descriptionstring
  A new description for the web link to provide additional context. Example: "This is a link to our company website"

  Required
  The ID of the web link to update.
• shared__link__accessstring
  The level of access for the shared link. Options: "open" - Anyone with the link can access; "company" - Only people within your company can access (paid accounts only); "collaborators" - Only invited collaborators can access. If not set, defaults to your enterprise admin setting…
• shared__link__passwordstring
  Password to protect the shared link. Must be at least 8 characters and include a number, uppercase letter, or special character. Set to null to remove an existing password. Can only be used when shared_link_access is "open". Example: "SecurePass123"
• shared__link__unshared__atstring
  ISO 8601 timestamp when the shared link will automatically expire. Must be in the future. Requires a paid account. Example: "2026-12-31T23:59:59Z"
• shared__link__vanity__namestring
  Custom vanity name for the shared link URL (e.g., https://app.box.com/v/my-custom-link). Must be at least 12 characters. Note: Vanity URLs are easier to guess, so avoid using them for sensitive content. Example: "my-shared-link"
